Fixtures for 2015 are now available

The fixtures for the coming season can now be see on the team pages and on the fixture calendar.  Matches start on 7th April 2015 and the league season lasts for 18 weeks, after which the knockout competition will take place.

Knockout Plate Semi Final

Millstone beat the Merrymen in the plate semi-final, so will go on to play the Masons Arms in the final on 16th September at the Delph Tavern.

Knockout Plate Semi Finals

In the semi finals of the Plate competition, Millstone will host Merrymen on 2nd September 2014, whilst The Masons get a bye through to the final to be held on 16th September at the Delph Tavern.

Presentation Night and Pairs Competition

The League Presentation night and pairs competition will take place at St James Catholic club on the  20th November 2015, a little later than normal but the club is already booked up for the previous 2 Fridays.

Cup and Plate Draws

The fixtures for the Plate eliminator and Cup Semi Finals have been posted on the fixtures calendar

On 26th August Bryn play Masons, Merrymen play Running Horses and Millstone play Park Lane

In the Cup Semi Finals on 9th September, UCC Blues host Robin Hood and Delph play Britannia.

The draw for the Plate semi finals, to be played on 2nd September, will take place after the elimination round

Cup Finals and Presentation nights

The finals of the Knockout Cup and Plate competitions will be held at the Delph Tavern on 16th September, starting at 8.30pm.

The League Presentation Night and Pairs Competition will be held at the Park Lane Club on 7th November.  Please note that the venu may be changed at short notice due to events outside the league's control.  If this is the case, an announcement will be posted here as soon as is possible.

New Quiz Show - 1000 Heartbeats

Hungry Bear are currently making a brand new quiz show for ITV called ‘1000 Heartbeats’, hosted by Vernon Kay. In this show contestants will be competing against their very own clock...their heartbeat!

Fifteen to One is back again with a £40,000 prize!

15 to 1

Channel 4 have announced that 15 to 1 is coming back with a second series.  If you would like to apply you can ask for an application form by sending an email to 15to1apps@remedyproductions.tv

In each show fifteen contestants go head to head answering some of TV’s toughest general knowledge questions. It’s a gripping game of quick fire answers where the winner is simply the last person standing.

Ultimately more than just a game of survival, Fifteen to One is a battle of supreme knowledge with the fifteen highest scoring winners returning for the end of the series final where they’ll compete for the title of ‘Grand Champion’.

The Grand Champion of the series wins up to £40,000!
