Moving in the 2013 season from the St Teresa's parish Social Club, the team now play their home games at the Britannia Inn on Hall Green
The team started out playing in a local Sports Quiz league and gravitated to membership of this league in 1989 when they joined Division Three, a division they promptly won the same season.
In 1991 a local disagreement caused them to leave the club and move their home base to the White Lion where they enjoyed success, that very same season winning the second division under the name of 'White Lion Wanderers'. They stayed there until their return to St. Teresa's Club prior to the 1994 term and remained there until early in the 2013 season, when economic circumstances forced the club to cut back on its opening hours. The team then moved to the Britannia Inn.
In 1996 St Teresa's were relegated to Division Two, but league reorganisation saw them return to the top division at the start of 1999. They have maintained this standing up to the present day.
The team itself has changed very little since its formation with stalwarts Paul McAteer, Phil Ashcroft and Dave Phythian having been joined over time by experienced players John Fitzgerald and Terry Rice. The squad is supplemented by Tony Sell.
As a point of interest, for a considerable period of time, Marion Phythian played for the team, and together with son Dave makes up what is probably the only mother and son pairing who have both won editions of the television quiz show "15 - 1", although this fact is of course subject to official confirmation.
Following their success in winning the Division Two title in 2005 the team stayed in the top flight for a further two seasons before the relegation door opened at the end of 2007, the only noteable success in between being Paul McAteer's 2006 victory in the League Knockout Pairs Competition where he was partnered by Carl Rennox of Four Man Bob.
The close of the 2008 season saw St Teresa's once again earn a place in the top division when they won the Division Two title, this being the third time they had done so. The change in format introduced in 2010 saw the team once again competing in Division Two and enjoying success as the second place team in this division.
The members of the team appeared on BBC's "Eggheads" in 2012 as The Brocketeers, beating the resident experts to win £4,000 in prize money
